Hillary Supporters For McCain Bumper Sticker

I see many comments here from Obama supporters that think simply because Clinton has endorsed him everyone will fall in line.  Think again people, supporters of Hillary Clinton are as determined as ever.  Our bumper sticker sales are higher today than any other time and the pro Clinton forums are on fire with activity.  Obama supporters are in for a rude awakening if they think everything is peachy now.

We are using the proceeds from our bumper sticker sales to continue the fight, we will not go quietly into the night.

Why not just get rid of the “Hillary Supporters For” part?

Let’s not lie to ourselves. Hillary would be insulted to have “supporters” who would elect a candidate who stands against every issue she fights for.

In fact, electing John McCain will be a detriment to Hillary’s political career going forward.

Do you think John McCain will support Hillary’s universal health care bill? Nope. Veto.

Do you think John McCain will support a woman’s right to choose? Nope. He’ll replace aging Supreme Court justices with younger ultra-conservatives who will overturn Roe Vs Wade, if not now, then sometime in the future.

Do you think John McCain will support middle-class tax cuts? Nope. He’ll extend Bush’s tax cuts for the wealthy, for the corporations that ship our jobs overseas, for the oil companies.

If you support John McCain and his values, why kid yourself into believing you ever supported Hillary and her values?

Hillary Clinton Democrats will vote for McCain and he will win. Americans are concerned about economic and national security issues. They trust Clinton with both. They trust McCain with national security. They trust Obama with neither:

1. Obama made his health care plan voluntary so it was never going to be the change we can believe in.

2. Voting for or against a candidate only because of their stand on abortion is a mistake. Ask those who voted for George Bush because he was “pro-life”.

3. John McCain will fight wasteful spending in government to reduce taxes for everyone.

Hillary Clinton is the best candidate by far. Without Clinton at the top of the Democratic ticket, Hillary Clinton Democrats will go with McCain.
Not Obama! Never Obama - the DNC selected candidate. This will send a message to the DNC that they can believe in!

I see a lot of fear-mongering among Obama supporters who are upset that Clinton supporters will back McCain…only this time, the fear-mongering is not about terrorism or the war…it is about Roe v Wade being overturned…or all of our civil liberties being taken away…or some sort of doom-and-gloom world that McCain will create if/when he is elected. Nothing is ever as extreme or as black-and-white as people make it out to be. At least with McCain, we know him. He is not the extremist some would paint him out to be. (That’s why many of the more extreme Right-wingers don’t like him.) In reality, McCain will likely NOT differ dramatically from Obama on the important issues…but at least McCain can use his own experience and judgement to make a decision…as opposed to Obama, who has accomplished very little in his time as Senator, and who seems to always look to others for guidance on what to do next. McCain exhibits more leadership than Obama, and frankly, my decision of who I will vote for in the fall is not simply based on a laundry list of policy stances of the Democratic Party. I care about more than that…otherwise, why not just have a robot who we can program the Dem’s platform into and not even bother electing a human for the job? I want someone who has character…is a straight-shooter…they tell you where they stand and let the chips fall where they may…they have depth and breadth of knowledge and experience, and a proven record of accomplishment…they are not always so careful and so strategized…and overall, they still use good judgment. These are not clear-cut qualities of Democrats…they are more clear-cut qualities of who would make a good President…and at the current time, McCain is beating Obama in all of these categories.

How is it possible for any American citizen, let alone any Democrat, to support the candidacy of John McCain? It stands for the very policies we have watched destroy our constitutional rights, deceive us into unjust war, undermine our economic system, and reduce the image of our country in the eyes of the world. Surely, your pique at the selection of Senator Obama has not wiped all this from your minds.

Of course the republicans seeing that you would be able to betray your own family , after reaping your votes ,will do anything to put you out or down because they will know that if you’ve been able to do so ,guess what you’re able to do against the GOP…meaning they just CAN’tT trust you…
You’d vote for your opponent rather than for somebody whose program is truly closer than Mrs Clinton’s…And you want the GOP to …work with you?!?
Do you really prefer to send your husbands, wifes, brothers , sisters, sons , daughters to war, in Iraq just because you don’t like Obama?I mean…Actually you prefer to see all those people get killed rather than having Obama as president?
By the way i’m independant not voting for any of the candidates

Talk about health care.

Talk about the economy.

Talk about education reform.

Talk about middle-class tax cuts.

Talk about ANY of the ISSUES that Hillary supports. Talk about how Obama supports many of the same ISSUES.

Talk about how McCain doesn’t support any of Hillary’s ISSUES.

Oh, wait, I forgot. You guys can’t talk about the ISSUES because you don’t want to sound like hypocritical brats throwing a temper tantrum.

So let me get this straight. You are Hillary Clinton supporters. She says she wants you all to support Obama in the Fall. You refuse to. She wants to fight for a comprehensive health care package. You will vote for the man who will deny it. She wants to end the war. You will vote for the man who will continue it. She wants to raise taxes on the rich. You will vote for the man who will lower them. She wants to protect a woman’s right to choose. You will vote for the man who will eliminate them. She wants to legalize civil unions for gays. You will vote for the man who wants to make that constitutionally impossible. Can someone please explain to me at what point the “supporting Hillary” part comes in?

You don’t have to vote for Obama, if you don’t like him. All you have to do instead is write her name in. That would actually benefit her, rather than deliberately throw your vote to a man that is her polar opposite.

Write her name in.

Sean…
Unfortunately, your argument is too simplistic. Those of us who support Hillary are considering supporting McCain for reasons beyond a simple laundry list of Democratic Party platform stances. We didn’t buy into Obama’s unsubstantial rhetoric before, and we are not going to buy into the concrete thinking that Obama supporters are trying to push on us, in order to scare us into supporting him.
First of all, Hillary *has* to support Obama…she cannot do anything else, unless she wants to end her political career and the potential she has to be the first woman President someday. She has “played the game” for the Dems, with the idea that it will pay off in the future…although that is no guarantee, given how they threw her under the bus this time around.
Re: abortion rights…what evidence do any of you have that McCain is going to willfully appoint someone to the Supreme Court who will help repeal Roe v Wade? I would like to hear more about McCain’s thoughts on this before I buy into the notion that he is some pro-life radical with overturning Roe v Wade as his sole purpose.
Re: the war…
The differences between Obama and McCain are not that big on this issue…even though the rhetoric and political pandering are. Obama is saying what his “base” wants to hear, and McCain is saying what his “base” wants to hear. The reality is that circumstances on the ground, along with military and diplomatic advisors, will be guiding the process…and no matter who is President, the end result will be essentially the same. The whole “100 more years of war” quote was taken completely out of context for the Democrats’ political gain…and even Hillary knows that.
Re: Health care…
Obama doesn’t even support the one part of health care reform that will make his plan work: an individual mandate. Without it, you don’t get equal cost-sharing and bring prices down. Frankly, the likelihood of having universal health care with either Obama or McCain is slim-to-none. Electing Hillary was really the only decent shot.
****
What it all comes down to is this:
The true differences between Obama and McCain are almost negligible…they only look big, because each is pandering to their base, and because the media is exaggerating everything to make it more exciting. Ask anyone living abroad, and they will tell you that the differences between our two political parties are miniscule. If you assume this to be true, then you must look at the two candidates and judge them on something other than a robotic citation of their respective parties’ platforms. Those of us who consider McCain to be a better alternative to Obama are judging the candidates based on personal qualities and characteristics…experience and accomplishment…judgment and capability…and flat-out competence. We want someone who doesn’t have to ask his circle of advisors what to do with every decision he encounters. We want someone with a history of accomplishment and the demonstration of compromise. We want someone with a record of moderation…not extremism. McCain has all of that. Obama really doesn’t.
That’s why I (and I’m sure many others here) are supporting McCain.

Mc CAIN is AGAINST abortion he said it so many many times…Obama admitted it was a deeply painful issue but he was for…and…i mean wow Laura…
A good president NEEDS advisors since he is the ONLY one to take the decisions BUT the advisors must present him all the options…
Experience for me is a false argument…It is just to say that you’re upset that Obama came so suddenly, on the political scene because it was supposed to be HRC’s time…i’m sorry but the real question should be: What did mrs CLINTON do WRONG or not enough that made her loose when she had it ALL at the beginning(remember!)

When I watched her speech yesterday morning, I felt something genuine in her voice. When she talked about dedicating her life to making America a better place, you could tell that was her deepest conviction.

She seemed a little hesitant endorsing Obama, but she also seemed very confident when she said we cannot afford to allow the Republicans to hold The White House for another 4 years or more.

In the end, I think Hillary’s decision to support Obama was what she feels is the best course for our country to follow. I’ve supported her so far, so there’s no reason for me to doubt her now.

Let’s take back The White House for the Democrats and make America a better place.

McCain and Clinton may disagree on issues, but they both are qualified to be commander-in-chief. There is a respect between the two that Obama supporters have not shown Senator Clinton. I can understand it being a difficult decission for Clinton supporters to make, but you have a candidate in Senator McCain that you know will work with Democrats, and treat them with respect. Senator Obama has potential, but he’s even less qualified than George Bush was when he entered office, and that’s troubling to a lot of people on both sides of the isle.

I joined the fight for women’s rights and the democratic party at age 18 and have voted democrat every time. This primary season, I wondered where the democrats were.I watched as the media treated Hillary to sexist and slanderous commentary and wondered where the democrats were. A while back there was a TV host that while reviewing a basket ball game said the words “nappy hesded hoes” and there was outrage. We saw jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the Civil Rights Association all outraged……….but where were they now. This was Hillary, a woman that has worked all her life for equal rights for all and better education for all but when media called her a “B**** there were smirks and no outrage. Where were Jesse Jackson and AL Sharpton and where was DNC Chairman, Howard Dean?

For young voters please do research and learn about the rights you just lost. It is typical that in the work place, when the superiors decide they want a new young person in your position,…..you will be called a “B**** and that will be the cause for termination.

Where was Dean when Obama was rewriting the rules for nomination or at least convincing the public through media that this game was over while he was still 400 delegates from the required number? Obama would say that he had won “most pledged delegates”, “most states” and “most popular votes”. But Dean knew that the required number of delegates could not be met with “pledged” delegates alone and that it would require that Super Delegates decide on the nominee. Why didn’t Dean explain to the public that Super Delegates have the responsibility to decide the nominee based on which is the “most electable candidate” and having nothing what so ever to do with who won the “most states”? Why would Super Delegates back a candidate which they know can not and will not win the general election? Simple! It is because they believe that they will lose black votes which keep them in office. So let’s show them how many votes they will lose when they ignore women’s rights. This primary has been an out and out attack on women’s rights and if it is allowed to go unanswered we will have no more rights than an Iranian woman.

STAND UP FOR EQUAL RIGHTS VOTE McCAIN BY DEFAULT

1) Supreme Court Justices must have majority senate approval……means McCain can not nominate a justice that the dems do not approve and therefore Roe V Wade will remain.
2) 4 years of McCain is much better than a lifetime without equal rights.
3) Iraq war is ending and MCain will oversee the withdrawal much better than Obama.
4)Universal Health Care is not something that Obama can handle and we are much better off to wait the 4 years for Hillary to be elected and handle universal Health Care.

This is not a matter of whether or not to burn your bra, this is a matter of whether or not your daughters will have equal rights in the work place.

VOTE McCAIN by default HILLARY 2012

Where was McCain when someone referred to his wife as a c**t?

Hopefully we can win without you guys this time anyway… there can’t be too many of you guys out there. My mom was a very strong Hillary supporter, but she will certainly vote for Obama this fall. She understands what is at stake. As far as experience goes, Obama has had more legislative experience than Hillary anyway. McCain doesn’t even know the difference between Sunni and Shiite. Furthermore, he charged that Al Qaeda was being aided by Iran, which is completely false. It shows a complete lack of understanding of the politics in the Middle East. Just because he was a POW in Vietnam in the 60’s doesn’t mean he knows a damn thing about the geopolitical realities of today. It’s experience, but not experience that helps you to be a good president. I am truly baffled by all your blind rage. Please come to your senses. Imagine if the rolls were reversed.

Charles Keating,Deconcini,MCCAIN,Cranston, & Glenn ripped off 15,000 retired El Toro, Ca residents in 1990 of their hard earned life savings of around 300million in Lincoln savings and left them for dead! You are ABSOLUTELY right “Lisa from RI” anybody who says they are a Democrat for “McBush” was never a Democrat to begin with!!! If someone supported Hillary and her positions and then turns around and says they will vote for McBush, they could never have been TRULY supporting Hillary’s positions. Because McBush is 180 degrees in the opposite direction. The differences between Hillary’s positions and Barack’s positions are very small, almost non existent.

There are only 2 TRUTHFUL reasons why someone would have said they were a supporter of Hillary and are now going to support McBush:
1)They were really Republicans all along and only supported Hillary because they figured McBush would have an easier time against her than Barack. In other words a lying, cheating, scoundrel of a republican.
or 2)They are racist, and simply won’t vote for anyone that isn’t a middle aged, white male.

So, a warning to all of you out there who want to call yourself a “Democrat for McBush”, we all know what kind of person you REALLY are!

All Hillary supporters, I am a John McCain supporters. We are together can help to stop Obama. u guys this is far beyond DEM vs. Rep, this is American vs. Extremist, or even Patriot vs. Hilter. For god sake, we together have to save America from this.
Hillary Clinton she love her country that is why she ran her campaign and fight for what she believe as a PROUD of American. You may not agree with John McCain in every issue, however, he is definitely not Bush, u guys know that! He can listen to u guys, even open the warm arms to welcome anyone who want to know him. Also, MaCain was a POW please, he knows what is mean war than anyone of us. In opposite, Obama sounds more like Bush, or even worst, he sounds like Stalin or Hilter!!!!
I stop watching CNN, MSNBC those channel, i don’t want to be force seeing Obama and his bitchy wife for god sake. As long as i see either one of them, i change channel.
Please, everyone of you, go out to vote, just like Hilary Clinton and John McCain, think about this beautiful country which million people has sacrified for , choose Obama and sit at home is no different than tell our founders and all dead soldiers, ” Sorry, what u guys died for a nothing anymore.”
WE CAN’T LET A EXTREMIST, MARXIST OR EVEN ISLAMIC JIHAI TO BE US PRESIDENT. OK?! I can’t imagine what will happen if OSama become a president, think what kind of radical assocations he will bring to White House, this is scary! i don’t want to be forced building concentrated camps for him.

You people are truly ignorant of the facts and fail to see the massive damage the Bush administration and the Republican party have done to this country. It is amazing that poor white Democrats of the South are the ones that have propped up the Republican party that began with the”state’s rights” slogan which in reality was a code word for racism.

It is apparent it still prevails.

Poll: McCain has edge among Macomb voters

‘The Reagan Democrats are back’

By Chad Selweski
Macomb Daily Staff Writer

John McCain holds a seven-point lead over Barack Obama in Macomb County thanks to disaffected Democrats who are uncomfortable with Obama’s minimal national security credentials and who are disappointed with his economic policies.
John McCain holds a seven-point lead over Barack Obama in Macomb County thanks to disaffected Democrats who are uncomfortable with Obama’s minimal national security credentials and who are disappointed with his economic policies.

That’s according to a comprehensive study of Macomb County voters based on a countywide poll and six focus groups conducted by one of the nation’s premier polling firms. The report, released at a Denver press conference just prior to Monday’s opening of the Democratic National Convention, put Macomb County voters in the national spotlight again.

The poll of 750 county voters by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research found that Macomb’s famed Reagan Democrats harbor doubts about the Democratic standardbearer’s experience and values, reflecting Obama’s struggle to gain traction with working-class whites across the Midwest.

The focus groups revealed that some disgruntled Democrats still have concerns about the Illinois senator’s religion, patriotism and ties to issues of concern in the black community.

The poll, conducted July 14-22, found McCain with a 46 percent to 39 percent lead over Obama in Macomb County. That compares with a nine-point lead for Obama in neighboring Oakland County, according to the Greenberg survey, and statewide polls showing Obama besting the Arizona senator by two to seven points.
