Just Say No Deal On Hannity & Colmes - Media Exposure Growing

I noticed a big spike in type in traffic to http://www.partyunitymyass.com as well as multiple new members to our PUMA Party Organization Website in the last hour.

I did a little digging and it appears a representative from Just Say No Deal was on today’s episode of Hannity & Colmes. That marks twice in two days that PUMA has been in the national media and the movement is growing rapidly.

I didn’t catch the episode but it appears it will be re-aired at midnight Eastern time. If you’re interested you should catch it then. I will post videos as soon as possible.

Edit: I watched the piece and it was wonderful. We are a member of this coalition and judging by the traffic spike to our own site (we are linked from there) they must be getting absolutely slammed.

This is exactly the kind of reason ( demonstrative lack of grace, intelligence, and wisdom) that we will not vote for Obama in November. If Senator Obama wants ignorance and hate on his team -well so be it-Good luck in November. BTW my dear brother, you might want to consider learning how to write in a mature and useful fashion-it’ll get you farther.

For those voting for McCain because he’s a “maverick”, let’s not fool ourselves here. Being a McCainiac isn’t any better than being an ObamaBot.

McCain isn’t a maverick. He flip-flopped on the war, he flip-flopped on Bush’s tax cuts for the rich, he flip-flopped on warrantless wiretaps, and he voted with Bush 95% of the time in the Senate last year.

Bush and McCain are very, very close on the issues. And McCain stands very far apart on the issues from Hillary.

If you’re a true Hillary supporter, I don’t understand how you could vote for McCain. He doesn’t support her stance on Iraq, the economy, universal health care, education reform, and a lot more.

I think what it comes down to is the issues. Hillary spent 40 years of her life fighting for woman’s issues, and for issues that affect all Americans.

Her platform was for universal health care, ending the war in Iraq, reforming our education system, and fixing the economy.

Yet McCain stands at odds with Hillary on all those issues. He’s even against a woman’s right to choose, one of the most basic liberties afforded to us.

Can you really call yourself a Clinton supporter if you vote for McCain? I think nothing could be more dishonorable.

Thank God there are level-headed people in this world who will vote on the issues in November.

The issues that will affect our lives, the lives of our family members and friends, and the lives of all Americans.

We can’t afford another 4 years without affordable health care.

We don’t want to see our soldiers dying in Iraq for another 100 years.

We don’t want to lose our homes to foreclosure, have our jobs shipped overseas, or struggle to pay for the rising cost of gas and groceries.

It’s about doing what is best for our loved ones, and for America. Voting McCain would only produce another term of disastrous Bush policies. We need to put a Democrat back into The White House.

Found this interesting post on the ongoing AOL Straw Poll Blog. Tells you every so often the Obots admit what they’re up against:

“Voice of Reason1:54PMJun 6th 2008

In the excitement of the past few days, there’s some news you may have missed.

John McCain and the Republican National Committee released their fundraising numbers for May, and we’ve got our work cut out for us.

The McCain campaign raised $21 million, which will be combined with $23.7 million raised in partnership with the Republican National Committee.

That’s nearly $45 million dollars in one month — money that will be used to attack Barack Obama and support John McCain’s effort to extend the policies of George W. Bush for another four years.

We need to respond quickly and show that we are ready to take on Senator McCain in the general election.

You can help by encouraging a fellow supporter to take the next step and own a piece of this campaign.

Make a donation of $25 today and match the gift of a first-time donor. You can even choose to exchange a note with them about why you support Barack:

Christina, I have never said that bringing the troops home was one of my priorities.
I voted for Clinton, not because I agreed with all of her policies, but because I had a choice of 2 candidates: her and Obummer. Obeejeezus is financed by too many corrupt financiers, marxists, and terrorists. He is a threat to our national security and I would not vote for him even if he had won fairly the nomination, as he has not.
Did you not see wheer your idol, Jodie Evans of Code Pink, said that bin Laden had a right to attack us? It was during an on air interview, I’m sure it’ll make youtube soon. when it does, I’ll post the link here.
Meanwhile, courtesy of cannonfire:
Jodie Evans: ”We were attacked because we were in Saudi Arabia, that was the message of Osama, was that because we had our bases in the Middle East, he attacked the United States.”

Paul A. Ibbetson: “Do you think that’s a valid argument?”

Evans: “Sure. Why do we have bases in the Middle East? We totally violated the rights of that country. Why do we get to have bases in the Middle East?”
Somehow, I think this is more of a problem.

Did you know that John Kerry took the ERA out of the Democrat platform in 2004 and Obummer has not reinstated it?
Obejeezus also stole the votes of hundreds of thousands of women in Mi and Fl, when he was illegally awarded delegates from voters who did not vote for him, not just the Uncommitted, but also 4 of Clinton’s.

When did I say I was a feminist? I am NOT a political feminist- I think women should be treated TRULY EQUALLY- not preferentially… not canonized, idolized, or worshiped, because they ran a horrible campaign and you all are too bigoted to notice. They should not get “better” treatment when they are running for office.. or be given MORE time to concede. No man has ever been defended for their hostility with the statements “losing is hard.” That is not equal.

PUMA is doing NOTHING for women’s rights. NOTHING. YOU ARE HURTING womens rights. Why dont you get that? Why are you so stupid that can’t understand that simple concept? Hillary will take your bum wrap!
They still blame Kennedy for Carter’s loss and Kennedy didn’t so shit! You think with the media against Clinton the way they ALREADY ARE, that IF obama loses they wont pin it on the woman? They wont say Clinton divided that party? If you believe that, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. MSM wont compare EVERY female candidate to run from then on to Clinton, her dirty campaign, her emotional supporters, and how they lost it for the Democrats in ‘08? You don’t think that? You can’t see the forest through the trees.

OBAMA stole votes? OBAMA? Joking right now? He didn’t steal votes dumbass, FL and MI stole votes. OBAMA simply agreed to their rules.. OBAMA fought to get those delegations seated the RIGHT way, not Clinton’s way. Clinton only cared about FL and MI after she learned that she won. FL was the only dem primary that had lower turnout than the republicans. THAT IS FAIR??? Please, spare me with your crybaby antics..”waaaa clinton was robbed.” Bullshit, Clinton lied and said she was fighting to get FL and Mi seated but opposed both FL and MI proposals for her OWN proposals which would jip the uncommitted voters of MI and the 30K write-ins for Obama. You’re so stupid that you don’t care about those people do you? You only care about your vote, right?

Let me tell you something, I live in FL.. dems thought their votes wouldn’t count- many, many, many didn’t vote.
THEY were the ones disenfranchised. THEY are the ones who had no voice. BECAUSE FL and MI legislatures told the voters that their votes wouldn’t count. then, because Clinton was throwing a bitch fit, those voters got disenfranchised. The delegations would have been seated eventually- you little rabid Clintonites didn’t have to go screaming like a bunch of high school ex girlfriends harping about the inadequacy of the black male candidate. YOU LOOKED STUPID… PEOPLE LAUGHED AT YOUR IGNORANCE. And the spokesperson for that entire episode became a racist new york woman whose vote DID count.

The proposals that EACH STATE DRAFTED.. THAT is what Obama agreed to.. so take your idiotic, mis-informed, femnazi bullshit, and shove it up your angry, bitter bum.

You idiot! Obama is a cosponsored re-introducing the ERA.. guess who wants no part of it? that jackass McCain… the one you are all working sooooo hard for.

this is to your reply below, Christina. Being a feminist is not claiming more rights for women than for men, it is for claiming equal rights. If you think otherwise, you’re deluded. Being a feminist is by definition a political stance. PUMA and similar groups are not doing nothing, or else you would be ignoring them. In truth they are doing a lot: you just don’t like what they are doing.
As for pinning it on the woman, you must be very young if you don’t know that they always pin it on the woman: that’s why I am a feminist. Did you know that if and when you get a college degree, on the day you graduate you will earn 11% less than a man who graduates on the same day as you? Did you know that by the time 20 years pass, that gap will be 38%? That’s because your value in this society is based upon your appearance, not your merits. I and other women like me, I’m 42 by the way, have worked hard to improve women’s rights. When I was little women made guess what: 75c on the dollar. I was told how great things would be when I was older. But guess what? Now women make 77c on the dollar. Wow, progress. Before you start calling women older than 25 hags, you ought to consider that the day will come when you too are over 25, even over 35 and 45, and 55. Crap you might reach a hundred. Did you know that men will be calling you a hag before you’re 30? Interesting that the quality you seem to value most in women is their physical appearance: you sound like a man, or a mental weakling.
As for the RULZ: before there were any DNC rules there was the Constitution. 50 years after black men got the right to vote, women got the right to vote. That would be the 19th Amendment. It says women get to vote. Non-negotiable.
the DNC RULZ are not like the Constitution: they change them all the time. You go get yourself a copy of the 2000 RULZ, the 2004 RULZ, and the 2008 RULZ: you will see that they are not the same RULZ.
When you finally realize that Obama was selected by Dean long before the 2008 RULZ and you see the changes: how black votes and caucus states were increased in importance (giving them more delegates per capita than they had previously received), you will begin to see that the RULZ have been engineered to promote a specific candidate over another: the man over the woman. This election was indeed rigged. If you could learn to do research you would go to OpenSecrets.org and look at the increase in this election of donations by sources that traditionally fund Republicans now going to Democrats and you would wonder how much of the selction of Obama has to do with increasing funding.
Better still you could go to youtube and find videos of Obeejeezus routinely contradicting himself and praising people who turn out to be either racists, terrorists, or even both together, and you’d be worried.
If you had sense, you’d be worried enough to vote for McCain. I’ve never pretended that i like McCain or that I think his record on women’s rights is acceptable.
Obummer is not backing the ERA: he is cosponsor (like a lot of people including Clinton) of a senate bill on wage parity which McCain does not back. You missed my point: In 2004 Dean who is Obama’s backer removed the ERA from the dem platform. If Obama gave a shit about it, he would never have accepted backing from Dean and would have made a clear demand for its reinstatement in the DNC platform. He has not. That he has not so far done this, this far into his campaign show that unequivocally, it is not of importance to him, any more than it is to McCain.
Obama is a very junior politician. His voting record, what there is of it, has been filled with votes of expediency and present votes to avoid taking a stand on hard issues. He is a weakling with no real views of his own, only a burning ambition to become president. He is willing to associate with anyone and take money from anyone to achieve it. To this end he is vastly inferior to both Clinton and even McCain. As for your contention that women looked stupid, youa re incorrect. women wer portrayed as stupid becuse they backed the better candidate, a woman, over a man not fit to be in office.
Your problem Christina, is that men don’t look at you and see anything but a woman and they never will, but you haven’t come to even believe this much less accept it. So you want to blame women. You think if you can make women act a certain way (like you believe men act) that they will be perceived a certain way.
You’re wrong. Men don’t like women who act like men anymore than they like women who act like women. Didn’t you notice all the slurs against Clinton? It never mattered what she did or said: she was attacked for being a woman. Go to youtube: look at all the videos. They didn’t attack her on matters of policy or experience, no they talked about her cleavage, her hair, wrinkles: they sounded a lot like you, Christina. A whole lot like you.
You might think you will get Unity and importance out of being connected to the Obama campaign, (prestige given out by a man, there’s a new concept. NOT) but you won’t. Women might give you unity, but you don’t want it from them: you don’t think they are important enough.

More evidence that he wants to let our troops rot in the sands of Iraq.

“His Own Wife, Cindy McCain - In his new book, The Real McCain, Cliff Schecter, a journalist and frequent contributor at the Huffington Post related perhaps the most disturbing of McCain’s tirades. During his 2000 White House bid, the Senator was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, his aides, and three journalists who spoke to Schecter on condition of anonymity, but independently confirmed each other’s accounts of the incident. Cindy McCain playfully ran her fingers through the Senator’s hair and teased, “You’re getting a little thin up there.” McCain reddened and fired back, “At least I don’t plaster on the makeup like a trollup, you cunt.” After he’d cooled down, McCain apologized, saying he’d had a long day.”

Wow, he called her an ugly name and later apologized.
Why I’d be ever so much more devastated by being called an ugly name than someone stealing my vote!!!!!
Go fuck a Unity pony!

No one stole your vote. You voted for the losing candidate. There is a difference.

“… hope is not blind optimism. It’s not ignoring the enormity of the tasks ahead or the roadblocks that stand in our path.

It’s not sitting on the sidelines or shirking from a fight. Hope is that thing inside us that insists, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that something better awaits us if we have the courage to reach for it and to work for it and to fight for it.”

CNNMoney did a comparison of McCain and Obama on their tax plans.

Surprise: McCain’s tax plan is less fiscally conservative than Obama’s.

McCain’s tax plan would add $4.5 trillion to the national debt; that’s on top of the $3.7 trillion Bush already added to the national debt from his own tax cuts for the rich.

Overturning Roe v. Wade

John McCain believes Roe v. Wade is a flawed decision that must be overturned, and as president he will nominate judges who understand that courts should not be in the business of legislating from the bench.

Constitutional balance would be restored by the reversal of Roe v. Wade, returning the abortion question to the individual states. The difficult issue of abortion should not be decided by judicial fiat.

However, the reversal of Roe v. Wade represents only one step in the long path toward ending abortion….

Nobody’s done anything to Roe v Wade since it was decided, and nobody ever will.

You forgot to mention that McCain doesn’t want to drill in anwr, and wants legislation that will support efforts to stop global warming.

This Roe v Wade scare is the same cheap fodder that the GOP used to use, and now Obama and the DNC are following suit. It’s the same BS as every other ‘bait and switch’ tactic that someone who is running a little scared (Obama) tries to use when they know they’re screwed.

Roe v. Wade has been seriously curtailed by conservative Justices since it was decided. The original right was no restrictions during the first trimester, only restrictions related to the mother’s health during the second trimester. The new(er) framework is any restriction, any time, so long as it doesn’t constitute an “undue burden.” That had the concrete result recently of the Court’s approving the “Partial Birth Abortion Act,” the vague language of which may ban the most common second-trimester abortion procedure, and which contains no exception for the health of the mother.

But beyond that, one more vote deducted from the lib/mod coalition on the Court and Roe is gone. Stevens and Ginsburg will hold out as long as they can, but he is 88 and she is 75. If McCain is elected, it is not particularly likely that both of them can hold out for his four-year term (the oldest Justice ever was a shade under 90 when he retired; Stevens might surpass that, but it’s not a great bet). An expanded Democratic majority in the Senate isn’t going to save Roe–the Dems could have filibustered either Roberts or Alito and declined to do so, demonstrating that they are willing to accommodate arch-conservative appointments to the Court. If McCain gets the opportunity to appoint a Justice, Roe is gone.

Rather, the oldest Justice ever was a shade under 91. But Stevens would be three months shy of 93 at the end of a hypothetical McCain first term.
