Waaaa I didn’t get the nominie I wanted so I’m leaving the party for the party that stands for everything completely the opposite of what we stand for. I am embarrassed to call myself American because of idiot groups like you. shame on you

I beg you pardon! The Obama group has clearly gotten to this level because of their dirty tricks and that with the support of the DNC. They have earned NOTHING!!!!! JUST ANOHTER BUSH!!!!!!!!! Do you truly want to be supported by that kind of a politician. Can you even imagine how dirty the system will be if he were to get in to the White house? HE WILL NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think you’ve lost your minds!!!!!!!!!! Don’t you see that it’s the process that wasn’t handled in a clean manner! Don’t you see that it’s not about Hillary anymore, it’s about the Democratic party being even dirtier than the Republicans and that they will do anything including breaking all the rules and readjusting them when they feel like it to obtain what they want. Don’t think for a minute, they have honorable reasons for doing any of this! You have to wake up, do your own research! Wake up!!!!! I might never vote for Democrats again!!!!!!! I’d rather vote for the Republicans, at least they are trying to maintain a certain level of values….

Linda,
You’re like so many conspiracy theorists who will never believe anything but your own rationalizations. Your rant reminds me of an interview I just heard with a filmmaker who swears 9/11 was perpetrated by the US government, or the Russian citizen on BBC News who swore the war with Georgia was created by America. I don’t know why you all feel the need to make some inane theory to validate your feelings, but I find it tragic and sad.

I am a Democrat who is going to vote for McCain/Palin.

I received a bulk mailing from the DNC yesterday, begging for money.

I removed my name from the letter, stuffed it back into their prepaid envelope with a note that I won’t vote for Obama and won’t support him financially in any way.

Then I mailed the portest back to the DNC on their nickle.

Good riddance.

These last 8 years have really fucked this country up. Billions gone in an illegal, immoral war with thousands of lives lost for naught, except to make the opposition stronger. Billions more about to be lost due to corporate greed, and still no real solution. ell, if anyone has a right to be mad, I do. An older white guy wh can see reality and voted with a clear head and light heart for Obama. Get the fuck over it

I have been a Democrat for 28 years, but I have never seen anybody change his mind about where Obama stands as Barack Obama !!! At first I liked what he stood for, but now I have no Idea what that is. At least Hillary stuck to her positions. I really is sad when you have to vote for the lessor of 2 bad candidates. But since the new Obama DNC chooses to run this way I guess I need to vote for McCain. BUT I AM still a DEMOCRAT !!!!

Honestly, I just don’t get you guys. None of you are talking about the issues. If you vote in McCain, you’re voting for a pro-life supreme court and the continuation of the war in Iraq. If you want those things than you are a Republican, if you don’t, you’ll vote for the candidate who is running on the Democratic ticket because he’s the only choice who won’t stack the court with the religious right, and who will set a time table for an exit from Iraq.

heidi,1. A NEW kind of Politics  — Voting for the Best Candidate regardless of Party (Joe Lieberman urged you to take a long and hard look at John McCain - during his speech earlier this evening).
2. McCain won’t raise taxes.
 3. Experience and Accomplishments Matter!!!
4.  Bpartisan record of working with Democrats.
5. In 35 years, no Republican President has threatened Roe vs. Wade.
6. The President can only nominate judges, while a Democrat-controlled Congress will appoint them.
7. Energy Independence for the U.S.A. using all means available.
8. 100% open government and unfettered press access.
9. John McCain risked his political career to do what he has thought best for the country on several occasions.
10. Never earmarked a single pork barrel project for Arizona.
11. Sarah Palin for Vice President!

Lastly, THE issue is about having a voice in the Dem. Party. This is about preempting the corruption and fraud that was perpetuated by the Dem. Party being ensconced in the White House. Furthermore, this is a PROTEST vote, BECAUSE the Dem. Party has forgotten or sold out its principles for the radical left and thus forgetting its classical liberal roots. To suggest the people are only voting because their nominee lost only shows how completely OBLIVIOUS YOU are of the ISSUES.

I know my candidate agreed to the rules in 2007 baring Michigan and Florida but she was cheated anyway. I spent so much time so much money, and gosh darn it I wanted her to win so bad it’s just not fair. Now I’m convinced Barack is the anti-christ because, well it makes me feel better. And I’ll vote McCain so I can screw the entire country if he wins and that will make me feel better until McCain (Hoover Jr.) ushers in the new great depression. That’s right I’ll vote McCain because it will make the country burn… BURN. I like that. Like that Joker fellow in the movie the Dark Knight. You know the guy who’s motivation is to see the world burn. Yeah I’m totally fracked up like that and I want John McCain who stands for everything I don’t to win the presidancy. Then they’ll see, then they’ll know they did me wrong. I’ll show them. When Johnny boy launches DEFCON 3 on Russia and Iran and my skin is falling off due to radiation from the new World War I’ll show them. They will have wished Hillary was in office so McCain wasn’t. Or maybe if Johnny boy has bankrupted our nation after 100 more years in Iraq, Iran, etc etc ad infinitum (I’m never going to be happy) then they’ll wish they listened to me and my disgruntled spoiled brat sore looser PUMAs… Yeah. They tell me I should waste my vote on Nader. Hell no. I’m all for McCain because I just know he’ll be Bush 2.0 and that is how politically savvy I am. I vote my alter-ego into office. It’s the new way baby, generation X-D… Yeah I’m nuts like that, or just nuts for Hilldog… Yeah baby…

Now if you think that’s unfair you really should step back for a min. This is exactly how you idiots sound. McCain is a moderate, but his administration WILL NOT BE. It will be more of the same and that’s everything that Hillary was not about. There is a good chance he’ll criminalize abortion. Funding for the arts et al will decrease even further as will other public programs. Why. Well because McCain will try to balance the budget, but only by cutting liberal fluff programs. Haliburton and co will continue to get paid by that dude FICA. If you’re fine with that and are such sore losers who can’t admit defeat then go on.

The last group of morons who just kept loosing and not admitting it currently sit at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Washington D.C.

In humbling one’s self and admiting defeat there is great humility, but there is also strength in moving on, in healing the way and moving forward toward progress. Anarchists like you lot who just want to abuse the democratic system that a backbone of our REPUBLIC can do as you wish. Then again you probably don’t even know that we’re a democratic republic or what that even means….

PS I like how the definition of “conversational PUMA” on urban dictionary sums you fools up.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=conversational%20puma

Basically loud mouths every last one of you and you didn’t get your way so you’re going to screw the rest of us and your quite vocal about it. What a bunch of smug A-holes. Cavuto was laughing at you the entire time thinking “dude this guy is the epitome of wine-o liberal and he’s going to win the election for our guys and then we can ban the gays, criminalize abortion, CNN, BBC, and make everyone a Christian”

What? Are people mindless idiots? No one should just automatically back their party. Isn’t this what many Dems accuse Reps of doing? When a party has gone corrupt, it shouldn’t be backed. Obama is nobody, and the only reason he is where he is is because the Kennedys and the media put him there. Never in my life have I seen the media shamelessly promote a candidate, and even now it seems Obama can do no wrong. And what a gig Obama has going because anyone who says anything against him is labelled as “racist” or “ignorant.” H. Clinton isn’t perfect, but she would be far better for the country than a puppet for the Kennedys or whoever is pulling Obama’s strings.

I am not going so far as to join the Republican party, but I am really leaning towards voting for McCain, if only to block Obama. I am disgusted by the Democrats. I would just love if H. Clinton ran as independent.

Hello everyone. I am a republican, but I cannot in good conscious stick with my party after the stunt pulled Friday by the McCain campaign. I call it a stunt because it stopped the building and growth and the news of Obama, who is the first minority to ever be selected by a major party to run for president. It stopped the media from reflecting on the fact that Obama could be the first minority in the history of the United States to hold the highest office in the land. However with the news of Palin that reflection stopped because well now there could be the first woman as Veep.

For those disaffected Hillary supporters, consider the fact that by voting for McCain in protest you are throwing your values out the window, you would be sanctioning the passage of the Patriot Act and the many more to come, you would be saying okay to the wars we have waged in the name of homeland security- it is better that other people suffer and die in another country that our friends, sons, brothers fathers, sisters, mothers and daughters should be injured, suffer and die. That trickle down economics should continue as the economy sits faltering and gas prices stay high. You are sanctioning the Republican party platform- that you agree and support it and that you want their ideology to prevail in our schools and our government.

Hillary had a lot of baggage in my opinion, the kind you cannot shake, with the name of Clinton there were some negative associations that made her nomination questionable. The association of her and Washington is too new I think and it would have caused her problems. I think her chances are yet to come, I can see her building her name and credentials in a Democratic Congress and White House and see her coming back stronger than ever. There would be no doubt in my mind she will be the the first woman president of the US, but after this round.

I would say it smarts and hurts and I can understand, but politics can be harsh, cruel and dangerous. Look at the Kerry campaign and swift boat. I am not trying to change minds, but think things out.

I cannot see how Palin is a substitute for Hillary- I am insulted and I am not even a Hillary supporter. She was the governor of a town of 7000, governor of a state with a little over half a million people, heck the suburb i live in is half the populations size of the entire state. Also what foreign relations does she have? at least in texas bush had experience dealing with Latin America on a regular basis. Anway that is all i have to say.

Obama is a money, power, hungry dirt bag, and has stepped on everyone he knows, even his family, to get where he is.

For me, Clinton was the best choice for me, and now McCain is, not because I’m bitter, it’s because I don’t like, nor do I trust Obama.

FYI buddy, my wife, my family, my friends, my neighbors, we are all Democrats, and we all support McCain, and thanks to Kerry’s comments, we no longer support him, so good luck in Massachusetts Obama, I think you may be surprised by how things turn out.

As I am not a Republican, I don’t just do the lock-step, goose stepping idiotic go-along-with-whomever, no matter what, non thinking PARTY voting that I despise about the Republicans I know.

I am not a conservative, so I think about my vote, I take a hard look at the candidates, and I make my choice that way. In the primaries, Sen. Clinton was the best of the lot, but the DNC evidently felt the need to rig it and they chose Oblahblah. Shame on them!

My vote is my choice, not some blathering, foaming at the mouth, goose-stepping, locked arm Obots! And that’s what I love about Democracy and my country.

I put country above party, and that’s that. If ya don’t like that, well too bad. And from all the years that I’ve observed Sen. McCain, he’s tried to do the same, so I have no problem proudly touching my voting screen on his name. It will NOT be Obambi, not ever.

The GOP is eating this up. Believe it or not, they’re many republicans who feel the same way about McCain as you do about Obama. However they’re pulling together. They know that no matter what, McCain would better serve their interests than anyone from the Democratic party.

The GOP has had control and has done pretty much what ever they wanted for the past 8 years. The results are mediocre at best and I’m ready to give it to the “kid”.
McCain, to me has lost his spark. He’s just a figure head, a mascot, something to keep the media attention off the GOP machinery. He doesn’t seem to understand why or how the Bush administration failed at running the country. That frightens me more than any bizarre red dawn conspiracy that surrounds Obama.

I think Barrack has taken some tough and unusual positions, harshly criticized, only later to have his opposition relent and end up agreeing with him. That is what sold me on Barrack and why I think he deserves a bit more cred than most of critics give him. I’m done with the obama-hating. He’s alright.

Honestly this is ridiculous. I understand if you don’t like Obama, and you don’t want to vote for him. I think it is laudible to vote on one’s principles and ideals. However to vote for someone representing a party with ideals that are polar opposites to the nominee you supported (Clinton) is ludicrous. That is why she has given her support to Obama’s campaign. If you want to use your vote to speak towards change in the party vote for a third party candidate who shares your ideals and principles. That is why they exist for those who disagree with the leading parties.

I think John Mccain would have made a good president in 2000 when he stood by his own principles. You can watch his comments and speeches now and see he is being controlled by the neo-conservative Republican party. We do not need four more years of neo-conservative policies.

I would like you fellow Democrats to think of something real quick. It is very likely that the next president will have at least two supreme court nominations to deal with in just his first term. McCain is still a Republican who needs Republican backing and this will undoubtedly appoint two young conservatives to the bench. This will make the Supreme Court a 7-2 majority for conservatives which will likely mean a conservative supreme court for a long, long, long time. Think about it.

Just like the Republicans did when selecting Bush. We will have the same type president in Obama as we did with Bush. He who will surround himself with “Smart” people. Ha what a joke. Those people who selected Obama are a joke. Pelosi coming in and saying “Impeachment is off the table” and it is a waste of time. Whose time??? Not mine. The Dems have NO backbone, if they did Hillary would be our Nominee. Think about THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AI ai ai, you don’t care about the Supreme Court Justices? You don’t care about Roe vs. Wade?

I hope you realize that exactly those things will affect American like us the most. I don’t understand that somebody can say that they don’t care about our justice system, that they don’t care about equality…. How is that possible? This is no joke! Voting for republicans WILL affect your and my life significantly in the wrong direction!

PS McCain/Palin have views on America that are the opposite of everything Sen. Clinton stands for. (anti women’s choice, anti gun control, pro oil companies, pro rich people…)

Really? You’re pissed that Hillary lost so you’re going to vote for a guy with opposite policies instead of the guy with an almost exact policy agenda? Seriously? Is this a really elaborate joke?

I am a lifelong Democrat and support the principles of the Democratic Party. I also vote only for candidates that I consider qualified for the office they seek. Obama has a very thin resume and his positions have repeatedly shifted during the campaign. We simply have no way of knowing what he would do if elected. Come November, I will be voting for every qualified Democratic candidate on the ballot, which will not include Barack Obama. I will be reluctantly voting for McCain — reluctantly because he is a Republican. He, at least, has shown the ability to stand on principle even when it is not politically expedient. He, at least, has a history of service and experience that qualifies him for the presidency. The Democratic Party needs to learn that even loyal Democrats are not going to support candidates who are either corrupt or unqualified. This has nothing to do with being a sore loser. Obama won the nomination fair and square, but because too many ignorant people get caught up in vague appeals to hope. Maybe in another four years we’ll have a Democratic candidate worth voting for.

So… you’re voting for McCain because he will stand for his principles… principles that are the polar opposite of what Hillary Clinton stands for? And because he has the political experience necessary to carry out those principles? Again, principles that Hillary Clinton is firmly against?

It sounded to me that Hillary had a great deal of respect for Senator McCain. She got the royal shaft both from the party and Obama. Did you guys not listen well to Obama’sspeech to the Germans. His agenda not only is Socialist but also a world without borders. He says he is a Christian, but doesn’t believe in the Bible. He associates with terrorists and claims he is not a muslim. But he speaks fluent Arabic. What does that tell you. He made $4 million dollars last year but won’t help out his half brother who lives on $1/month. He became a state senator by disqualifying his opponents. Now he wants to claim he won but won’t let a vote take place. What is he afraid of.

You throw out the word “socialist” like it is a cancerous tumor. Please don’t forget that Hilary Clinton’s campaign was just as “socialist” as Obama’s was. Both wanted to nationalize health care after all. And as far as Obama’s beliefs go, you only have mere speculation to go on. Do you realize how many “Christians” there are in this country who don’t believe the Bible, or even worse, don’t even know it except for a couple of verses? And as far as “associating with terrorists” goes, the media as well as at least half the American people have been pushing for more diplomatic solutions to global problems and less invading every country we think is housing terrorists. And that would include talking with people we believe to have some part in this. So I’m afraid you’re just full of it there. And bringing up Obama’s ability to speak Arabic as some sort of indicator that he is a Muslim is a very weak and simpleminded attempt. We have a government searching for people who can speak this language so they can be used as interpreters, so are all these people Muslim as well? I’d be really impressed with an American president who could speak to foreign leaders fluently in their own tongue. If anything, this should be a reason to consider voting for the guy.

It just seems to me like you Democrats are throwing a hissy-fit because Hilary is out, when the woman herself realizes how bad things would go if McCain gets elected. You need to realize that the president does NOT have absolute power in this country, he is still held accountable to not only his party, but also to the American people. Obama has talked a very big game, one so big that he’d be more than a fool to not live up to it. You can vote for McCain if you want, but, as said earlier, the old man may be nothing more than a figurehead and puppet for his party. Which every president is to some extent anyway. In the end, with Obama at least you’d be getting most of the same stuff Hilary was spouting.

In the end, all I do is sit back and watch, so you guys just do what you want. And please don’t even waste time flaming me if you don’t like what I have to say, cause I can’t vote so you’d just be wasting your time.

The press loves John McCain. He’s funny and affable (in a crankypants way). So, they dubbed him a “maverick” because of a few relatively meaningless votes he’s made from time to time, and now people think McCain is some kind of moderate. You say you support the principles of the Democratic Party. Perhaps you are a pro-life Dem so it doesn’t matter to you that McCain will work to overturn Roe v. Wade. OK. Fine. But McCain is also *strongly* against, has *repeatedly* voted and/or spoken out against:

Children’s health funding (including the SCHIP bill Hillary worked so hard to pass)
Women’s health bills
Equal pay for women
Insurance coverage for contraception
Education about contraception for young people
Raising the minimum wage

How can you say you support the values of the Democratic party and then vote McCain? You say you will not vote for Obama because we “have no way of knowing what he would do if elected”. So, you will vote for someone you *know* will act against your principles? Actually, we can look at Obama’s votes in the Senate and Illinois legislature and at his work in Chicago and have a reasonably fair guess what he’ll *try* to do in office. I’ll give you that whether he can accomplish it, given his lack of executive experience, remains to be seen. However, at least he’ll be *trying* to achieve Dem values. I’m sorry, but your argument just makes no sense.

Many of the comments I’ve seen here argue for McCain over Obama because of experience. This is a point I am having a hard time following. Please don’t call me names or get in my face, I promise to treat you with the same respect you give me. But when Bill Clinton was elected president in 1992 he had no national experience, he was Gov. Clinton of Arkansas. He had no foreign policy experience, he had no Senate record, and was not widely recognized as a unifying force in local politics let alone national politics. I volunteered for Bill Clinton in 92 and his re-election campaign in 96 and honestly I wish he could’ve run for another, or another 10, terms. I love Sen Clinton as well, her policies closely mirror my ideals, if she had won the primaries, I would have volunteered for her as well. But she didn’t. Some say it was taken from her and given to Obama by the DNC. I’m not here to judge that. (I would like to say though that if we had had more of that dissention in 2000 maybe the Supreme Court and the state of Florida wouldn’t have put us in this horrible situation in desperate need of change). But please let’s look at the issues and the platforms presented by the 2 candidates that we can choose from in the general election.
The war in Iraq-
Sen Obama has always opposed the war and was one of the few to see through the Bush administration’s justifications for war from the outset. This is not a platform he created to win an election. He has been an advocate for timelines and benchmarks to allow the Iraqi government to retake control of their destiny and allow our overworked and underappreciated troops come home. The war has contributed $4 trillion to our debt that will need to be paid somehow sometime (I’ll get to this issue momentarily)
Sen McCain still supports the war and has said publicly that he would stay for 100 years and would not be opposed to re-instituting the draft to fill the ranks. Many of our own troops oppose a draft, they realize that a volunteer army is more effective than one that is forced to serve. And the only plan I’ve heard from McCain to “win the war” is to “win it” and he “knows how to win it” (see his speech at Sturges). In my opinion, that strategy is about as sound as Rumsfeld’s was. So possibly 100 years (and I hope that was figurative and not literal) of running in circles with no strategy.
What the Iraq situation (and Iran, and Israel/Palestine, and North Korea) needs is diplomacy. If Jimmy Carter can forge a peace between Protestants and Catholics in Ireland and Egypt and Israel in the middle east, then we should be able to work something out, right?
Economy-
I think it’s obvious that most Americans are suffering like never before in their lives. Wages have stagnated for decades while the cost of living has steadily increased. Fuel costs, and in turn food cost have skyrocketted in the past 18-24 months. In 1999 I opened a bakery, used my nest egg, my creativity, and my hard work to build a small business from a dream to reality. When I opened, natural gas to run the ovens cost about 30 cents/BTU, when I sold it in 2007 it was about $1.05/BTU. Fuel for my trucks was under $1 a gallon at opening, closing in on $3 a gallon at selling. Health insurance for my employees (which I required the new owners to keep in place) increased 20% each year for the last 4 years. My gross income peaked at about $1.4 million, net of about $150,000 in 2003, then both steadily declined as people in my neighborhood found fewer and fewer dollars for simple pleasures such as fresh baked breads and pastries. Home prices in my neighborhood have declined dramatically, as has the value of the dollar. Unemployment has increased steadily (even with the new way the Bush administration calculates it, for those that don’t know, they no longer count the individuals that have given up on trying to find work). I guess my point is that we, the folks that work for this country, are hurting.
Sen Obama has pledged windfall taxes on oil companies to offset a $1000 energy relief check for us. Some may argue that this will cause the oil companies to increase prices. You may in fact be right. But I lived through the energy crisis of the late 70’s, I learned conservation then, and conservation now is one of the main reasons gasoline prices have declined in recent weeks. Tax cuts for us, the workers of this world, will allow more money in pockets, more money to stimulate the economy from the 95% of Americans that make less than $250,000 a year, the threashhold Sen Obama has set for tax policy changes. Increasing our tax revenues by rolling back the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations will help balance the budget once again. We were paying the debts we created in the 80’s (I love Bill Clinton for being able to accomplish this) but now have added so much to it that we are literally selling off America to finance our debt (I despise GW Bush for throwing this all away, fiscally responsible my ass, but I digress). Someone will have to pay this back, but who? If our economy tanks, and our corporations go into foreign hand (I’m in St. Louis and there are many folks here not too happy that Budweiser is now owned by Inbev) where is that money going to come from? I also think back to those troubled times in the 70’s and how much better off we’d be now if we had the foresight then to invest in alternative energy. Our auto industry would now be thriving and selling efficient cars and technology all over the world, rather than wallowing in unsold SUVs. Sen Obama has pledged billions of dollars for development of these technologies we should already be using. America was once on the forefront of innovation but we seem now to be stuck in a rut of ‘eh, it’s good enough’.
Speaking of ‘eh, it’s good enough’, Sen McCain proposes extending the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. If the past 8 years has been any indication, this policy is seriously flawed as is a not so subtle form of class warfare. McCain does propose a tax cut for the middle and lower classes, but not as substantial as Sen Obama’s, plus he has no plan to increase tax revenues or curtail spending to balance the budget. Remember that 100 year’s war in Iraq we might have to face, that ain’t going to be cheap. He’s proposed slashing earmarks and pork but which ones specifically? He’s said he could find a billion dollars tomorrow but that was 6 weeks ago and I haven’t seen that billion dollars yet so……
Energy-
Sen Obama, as I said is planning on expanding research into wind, solar, and hydrogen technologies (something that should’ve been done 3 decades ago). America uses 25% of the world’s oil and has only 3% of the oil reserves. Drilling for more oil is not the solution, it only postpones the inevitable in the same way that we buried our collective heads in the sand during those booming Reagan days instead of taking the responsible path. I was very proud of the Democrats for standing firm against the calls for expanded offshore drilling and for promoting conservation. I must admit that I have been disappointed recently for their backtracking, however slight it was, but Sen Obama’s plan for new technologies is far better than…..
Sen McCain is strongly calling for expanded offshore drilling to relieve gasoline prices now or in the near future. Even if we could begin pumping oil tomorrow, the price is set on a global market and estimates are that we would be able to lower gasoline prices by no more than a few cents. Now yes, a few cents a gallon adds up quickly considering how much gasoline we pump, but it is a panacea, not a real solution to the underlying problem. Natural gas is a better solution but is also not renewable nor clean. Sen McCain is calling for 30 new nuclear power plants, citing France as an example of nuclear use (80% of their power is nuclear generated) but France has far fewer people than the U.S. and, since energy prices have always been high in Europe, France is accustomed to, and very effective at, conservation. This is the point that Americans should be focused on. Not generating more energy but using less. And on an environmental aside, Sen McCain wants to contain all the nuclear waste in Yucca Mountain in Nevada, but he doesn’t want it transported through his state of Arizona. Ask yourself why. Sen McCain is saying now that he wants expanded research into wind, solar, and tidal energy yet he has voted more than 30 times against funding these technologies during his days in the senate. Maybe he’s had a change of heart, but I’m thinking his record is pretty obvious.
The Constitution-
This is a big one for me personally. Our founding fathers, while not perfect, created a document FOR US, THE PEOPLE! I have watched that document shredded, OUR RIGHTS, THE PEOPLE’S RIGHTS, disregarded by this closed and secretive government. The Executive Branch has stolen power from the Legislative Branch, has manipulated the Judicial Branch for it’s own narrow views, and created some weird quasi-branch for VP Cheney that’s not quite the Ex
